1000pcs Solar Street Lights Installed in Rural Road Revitalization Project in Southeast Asia

Project Background: A rural area in Central Africa, located in a subtropical monsoon climate zone, has long suffered from insufficient nighttime lighting. Most rural roads are narrow and unpaved, lacking power grid access, making nighttime travel difficult for villagers and posing significant safety hazards. To promote rural revitalization and improve the quality of life for villagers, the local government launched a rural road lighting renovation project, planning to install solar streetlights along 50 kilometers of rural roads. Project Requirements: The project owner had specific requirements for the solar streetlights:
* The streetlights must be adaptable to the hot and rainy climate and possess strong waterproof and corrosion-resistant properties;

1. Climate Adaptability: The local area experiences consistently high temperatures and humidity, with an average annual temperature of 28-32℃ and a concentrated rainy season, placing high demands on the waterproof and corrosion-resistant performance of solar streetlights. Ordinary solar streetlights are susceptible to moisture and corrosion, leading to short circuits and component damage.

 

2. Power Configuration: Rural roads are 4-6 meters wide, with rugged terrain and significant seasonal variations in sunshine duration. Appropriate configuration of the solar streetlight's power, solar panel capacity, and battery capacity is necessary to ensure stable lighting.

 

3. Construction Difficulty: Narrow rural roads hinder the passage of large construction vehicles, increasing the difficulty of transporting and installing solar streetlight poles.

 

4. Time Pressure: A 15-day construction period requires close collaboration between the production, transportation, and installation teams to ensure timely project completion.

 

Our solutions for Africa and Southeast Asia include:

1. Customized Product Configuration: Based on local climate and road conditions, we recommend 100W, IP67 waterproof solar streetlights equipped with high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar panels (conversion rate up to 24%) and 150Ah lithium batteries. The solar streetlight poles are made of hot-dip galvanized steel with an anti-corrosion coating, effectively resisting moisture, corrosion, and high temperatures. The LED light source uses high-brightness, low-energy-consumption chips, ensuring sufficient illumination while effectively saving energy.

 

2. Power Optimization: For areas with uneven sunlight, we adjust the tilt angle of the solar panels to 35° to maximize sunlight absorption. Simultaneously, we install a power management system in the solar streetlights, which automatically adjusts the brightness based on remaining power, ensuring stable operation for 8-10 hours each night and continuous operation for 5-7 days on cloudy or rainy days.

 

3. Optimized Installation: We use lightweight solar streetlight poles (6 meters high, weighing 80 kg), facilitating transportation on narrow roads. We also dispatched a professional installation team of 8 people, divided into 3 groups for simultaneous installation. Before installation, we trained local maintenance personnel to ensure they could independently perform simple maintenance tasks after the project.

 

4. Efficient Coordination: Our factory accelerated production, completing the production of 1500 solar streetlights within 7 days. The installation team began construction immediately upon receiving the goods and completed the installation and commissioning of all solar streetlights within 12 days, 6 days ahead of schedule.
