This project focused on the needs of villagers for nighttime travel safety, improved living environment, and green and low-carbon development. It adopted integrated solar streetlights with high-conversion photovoltaic panels, large-capacity lithium batteries, and intelligent light-sensing control. These streetlights require no external power supply, operate with zero electricity costs, automatically charge during the day, and automatically illuminate at night. They can achieve long-term operation even in continuous cloudy or rainy weather, balancing lighting effect, durability, and economical maintenance.
Funding is key to the successful implementation of the street lighting project, and coordination is essential. Some villages in Qiaoting Township have weak collective economies, making it difficult for them to bear the construction costs alone. The Qiaoting Township People's Congress actively sought to include the street lighting project in the annual "one-thing-one-discussion" fiscal subsidy program for livelihood projects, while also coordinating with higher-level authorities, local benefactors, and residents to raise funds. During the construction phase, representatives proactively visited villages to communicate, resolve conflicts, and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Full-process supervision ensures "long-lasting illumination"

Illuminating the Road to Rural Revitalization
Today, over 800 solar streetlights have been installed throughout the township, covering major administrative villages and key transportation routes, benefiting thousands of residents. The continuous lights not only illuminate over 20 kilometers of village roads, eliminating traffic safety hazards at night, but also brighten the lives of the villagers. "With streetlights, I no longer have to walk in the dark or visit neighbors at night; it makes me feel much more at ease," remarked Grandpa Wang, a villager from Qiaoting Village.
The lighting project has not only eliminated safety hazards but also revitalized the rural nights. More people are taking walks and chatting after dinner, and businesses along the streets have extended their operating hours, broadening income channels for villagers. At the same time, representatives promoted the establishment of a "village collective + villagers" co-management mechanism, opened a hotline for reporting streetlight malfunctions, clarified maintenance responsibilities, and ensured the long-term operation of this livelihood project. These streetlights illuminate not only the way home but also the new journey of rural revitalization—"industrial prosperity, beautiful countryside, and wealthy people."
Ten brand-new solar streetlights have been installed, tested, and put into use in He'an Village, Dali Town, Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The village roads, which were once dark due to aging and disrepair of the streetlights, have been completely "renewed." The bright lights provide a safety barrier for villagers traveling at night and make the rural nights warmer. The implementation of this practical project for the people's livelihood is inseparable from the initiative and full promotion of the village-based work team.
It is understood that the donated solar streetlights are energy-saving, environmentally friendly, easy to install, and require no external power source, effectively reducing later maintenance costs and highly aligning with the concept of green and low-carbon development. Following the donation ceremony, the charitable company quickly organized a construction team to install and debug the streetlights. Currently, these streetlights have been officially lit up at key locations such as the main roads and cultural square in Zhangshan Village, adding a bright backdrop to the rural nightscape.
These brand-new streetlights not only address the infrastructure shortcomings in Zhangshan Village and effectively ensure the safety of villagers traveling at night, but also, with their gentle light, gather warmth, demonstrating the company's social responsibility and commitment. This donation activity has injected warm social power into the rural revitalization of Wushan Township, allowing the people to feel a tangible sense of happiness from improved livelihoods.
